We here at Barworks aim to create modern interpretations of the British pub, unique to its environment and setting while maintaining the key components of what a pub should be: a relaxing, welcoming hub for the local community and those visiting the area. A destination as well as a home away from home; and we owe it to our staff that we are able to realise this mantra day by day.

This ethos has allowed us to build a solid reputation in both the industry and local area, with many of our pubs regularly appearing in guides for the best pubs in London. In 2015 we were delighted to receive industry recognition with a Catey award for best Pub and Bar group.
Who we are
We are dedicated to investing in people and their careers in Barworks as well as their personal progression. Despite our steady growth we have always maintained transparency and trust with everyone in our team and we love to see people rise through the ranks; and this has paid off for us: 11 out of our 12 GMs have started at AGM or Bar Staff level and our entire Operations Team has started their careers with Barworks as AGMs.

Incentives, collabs & trips
We provide a wide range of vocational training including WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) courses, Personal Alcohol License for managers, regular Spirit Masterclasses, Floor Service and Bartending Trainings, Beer School and Barista Training. Our trainings include many Distillery and Brewery tours and visits.
